Michelle L. Shuffett, MD is a healthcare executive, strategist, and fitness enthusiast with almost 20 years of experience encompassing a unique blend of medical practice, marketing proficiency, communication skills, and leadership. As an MD gone rogue, Michelle is adept at mixing the art and science of medicine, marketing, analytics, and content with a deep caring for human well-being. Michelle’s interests in health and wellness shine through in all aspects of her life, including food and wine events, wellness-based travel experiences, and an almost daily yoga practice.

In 2017, she co-founded LMT Productions to pursue her passions. The first project, MIND / BODY / ACCESS, is a yoga and coaching platform designed to create an ecosystem that will curate the best content, instructors, and insights to give people access to unique yoga and coaching content/experiences that can be viewed anywhere, anytime.

Michelle attended medical school at the University of Kentucky and completed her residency at UCLA. She cut her teeth in the pharmaceutical industry at Boehringer Ingelheim, first as a Medical Liaison focusing on Opinion Leader advocacy and Managed Markets then as a Associate Director, Medical Marketing Advisor. During that time, she attended the London School of Economics and earned certifications in Healthcare Economics and Quantitative Analysis.

Continuing down a path grounded in health, Michelle moved to the agency side and was Executive Vice President at Synapse Medical Communications. She was responsible for overseeing the development and execution of comprehensive, integrated, and strategic promotional medical education and market-shaping initiatives for healthcare clients. She rounded out her digital marketing experience at Everyday Health, where as Vice President of Marketing Strategy she focused on creating behavior-changing solutions for clients that activated a health-focused community and empowered them to live their healthiest lives, every day.
