Sasha Cohen is one of the world’s most distinguished figure skaters, a passionate philanthropist and a rising news / media professional. On her list of achievements is winning the 2006 U.S. Championship in St. Louis and a silver medal at the 2006 Olympic Winter Games in Turin, Italy. She is a member of the U.S. Figure Skating Hall of Fame.

Sasha has been featured in television, movies, and magazines including MTV Made, Hell’s Kitchen, Bratz: The Movie, CSI: New York, Inside Edition, Project Runway, V Magazine, and Vogue. Her autobiography “Fire On Ice: Autobiography of a Champion Figure Skater” was published by HarperCollins in 2005. Sasha currently works for CBS News 60 Minutes. Previously, she was the head of content at ZIG Media.

Sasha is passionate about helping others and giving back. In addition to being on the board of the Star Mountain Charitable Foundation, she has been actively involved with the Figure Skating in Harlem organization where she serves on the board, American Heart Association, Make-a-Wish Foundation, Ronald McDonald House and Orphaned Starfish. She has also been invited to speak at TEDx at Columbia University, Disneyland, Citizen Watch, Proctor & Gamble and Simply Saline.

Sasha holds a Bachelor of Political Science with great distinction from Columbia University. Sasha also attended Harvard Intensive Acting Program in summer 2007 during her break from competitive skating.
