Founded by Brett Hickey, Star Mountain Charitable Foundation is a New York 501(c)(3) not-for-profit headquartered in New York City. Star Mountain Charitable Foundation helps bring great people together by connecting leading small businesses with talented individuals looking for their next career move in the form of:
- Board positions
- Part time positions
- Full time positions
Star Mountain Charitable Foundation focuses on specific demographics which include:
- Former professional and Olympic athletes
We are developing new tools to connect these groups with leading small businesses across America, particularly growing small and medium-sized businesses which represent 90% of American companies.
Our vision is to make the largest impact possible by combining passion, expertise and leading custom-build technology.
Star Mountain Charitable Foundation also supports health and wellness including cancer research.
Statement of Need: Star Mountain Charitable Foundation recognizes that it cannot solve the broad-based community needs it is addressing on its own; instead, Star Mountain Charitable Foundation is looking to assist the various governmental and charitable organizations that are addressing these same public welfare needs and primarily by contributing the time and talent of its volunteers toward Star Mountain’s broad-based fundraising activities. Star Mountain Charitable Foundation believes that the funding gaps that exist in the public welfare areas it is addressing will continue, and may even expand, over time, so there will always be a need for whatever assistance Star Mountain Charitable Foundation is able to provide.
